First step -- Baby's room!

Six Months!!! -- 24 weeks

This is finally the first picture that I have taken of my "belly". I really meant to take other pictures but always forgot to bring the camera. I will try to do better with that!

It's a Boy!

We've known for a while, but I have not been good about writing it down in the blog. I also said I was going to post a picture and I still haven't taken one... Not good... Oh well, we are thrilled to announce that we are having a baby boy!! The Dr. says that everything looks great on the ultrasound and that he is an active little one. Both sets of grandparents were able to attend the ultrasound. It was nice to have everyone there and one of the uncle's also (Carlos's brother). I think I feel the baby a bit more, but the Dr. said that I should really feel him by week 24. I am currently 20 weeks 4 days... I feel blessed with this journey and continue to pray that everything goes well for the remainder of the pregnancy.

We are having lots of fun looking at decorations for the room. Two weeks ago we bought the crib and we have been buying the things we need to start the process of painting, etc... We have decided to have a transportation theme so hopefully it can grow with our little one for a couple of years. Cars, trucks, planes and boats... it is a cute theme :)

Meanwhile, I miss my mommy that is all the way up north in Buffalo enjoying all the family’s company!!! I can’t wait to have her back 

Flutters!

I don't know if it is just me... but I think I feel my little one rolling around in there... It feels like little butterflies are fluttering. It is a special feeling. I can't wait to feel the first kicks... ;)

Anxious for our next appointment!

I guess we got used to seeing the baby every two weeks... But now we have to wait 2 more weeks to see our precious little one! The only thing that keeps me at ease is that I continue to have the symptoms... but I am still nervous every day. Well, it will be so much fun to know if it is a boy or a girl! We are enjoying looking at all the wonders that they have in stores for babies. Time goes by pretty quickly. Today I am 4 months 2 days!!! I will be posting my belly pic pretty soon. I need to get Carlos to take a picture of me. Last night I read Green Eggs and Ham to our little one and I enjoyed it. I will be checking out books from our school library to entertain or little bundle. Let the clock keep on ticking!!!

Getting Bigger!!! -- 14 weeks

Oh!!! The miracle of life! :) I really can't believe a little baby is inside me and growing so fast... Last Friday the 13th Daddy and I went to see our little one again. The Dr. wanted to check out my cervix to prevent later miscarriages due to cervix incompetence. Our little honey was sleeping... This time I made sure the Dr. gave me a picture. I was so happy to see that everything was fine and that the Dr. told us that we have no need to worry. I go see him again in a month!!! I can't believe I will be 18 weeks then! Only a month and a half to find out what our little one is!! :) It is exciting to go to the stores and look at all the cute things they have.

So, So Happy!!! -- 12 weeks

Yesterday was wonderful! I had my 12 week appointment with the Dr. He checked the baby out and said that everything looks great! Then he allowed grandma and grandpa Stoyell to see the baby on the ultrasound. My little plum (that is the size it is right now) was wiggling away and moving his/her hands and feet. It was really cute to watch. I feel so happy that everything is moving along. Yeyyy!!!
