Anxious for our next appointment!

I guess we got used to seeing the baby every two weeks... But now we have to wait 2 more weeks to see our precious little one! The only thing that keeps me at ease is that I continue to have the symptoms... but I am still nervous every day. Well, it will be so much fun to know if it is a boy or a girl! We are enjoying looking at all the wonders that they have in stores for babies. Time goes by pretty quickly. Today I am 4 months 2 days!!! I will be posting my belly pic pretty soon. I need to get Carlos to take a picture of me. Last night I read Green Eggs and Ham to our little one and I enjoyed it. I will be checking out books from our school library to entertain or little bundle. Let the clock keep on ticking!!!

Getting Bigger!!! -- 14 weeks

Oh!!! The miracle of life! :) I really can't believe a little baby is inside me and growing so fast... Last Friday the 13th Daddy and I went to see our little one again. The Dr. wanted to check out my cervix to prevent later miscarriages due to cervix incompetence. Our little honey was sleeping... This time I made sure the Dr. gave me a picture. I was so happy to see that everything was fine and that the Dr. told us that we have no need to worry. I go see him again in a month!!! I can't believe I will be 18 weeks then! Only a month and a half to find out what our little one is!! :) It is exciting to go to the stores and look at all the cute things they have.

So, So Happy!!! -- 12 weeks

Yesterday was wonderful! I had my 12 week appointment with the Dr. He checked the baby out and said that everything looks great! Then he allowed grandma and grandpa Stoyell to see the baby on the ultrasound. My little plum (that is the size it is right now) was wiggling away and moving his/her hands and feet. It was really cute to watch. I feel so happy that everything is moving along. Yeyyy!!!

I heard a heartbeat!!! <3

I went to the Dr. on Friday and I was able to hear a heartbeat!!! It was wonderful to hear the life inside me! The baby's heartbeat was at 175 BPM :) The Dr. said it measured at 9 weeks 5 days... and I was actually 9 weeks 6 days! So that was pretty close!!! I feel blessed and counting down the days until I pass the risk of any problems... only 2 more weeks and I will be able to be more relaxed. Meanwhile, I will just have to be glad I have all the symptoms!!!

8 week visit

Well... Saturday was a day full of events! In the morning we went to our Dr's appointment and he did a second U.S. The Dr said that everything looked great! We were able to see the embryo and a little flickering light, which was the heartbeat!!! We didn't get to hear it because I don't think the Dr. has the Doppler. We asked the Dr. if we could go ahead and tell our parents and he said to go ahead!! We left his office and called my mom and dad first because they were on a trip and after that we went to tell Carlos's parents. It was a wonderful day :) Once I am able to scan the pictures I will post them.

6 Weeks and counting...

We went to my Dr. yesterday to have my first US done. The Dr. said that everything was perfect and we were able to see the gestational sac and a little white dot that he said was the embryo. He didn't try to hear the heartbeat yet. He told me he wanted to wait until I was 8 weeks to have that US. He sent me to have more blood work done to see how my hormones are making progress. We can't wait to hear the heart beating! We will feel so much better when that time comes. So now... we have to wait 2 more weeks!!! We are very happy :).

Happy New Year!!!

I have tried to be patient and sometimes it has not worked out. I am trying to relax and take things day by day. But... I am happy to announce that we are pregnant!!!! I found out January 3rd while Carlos and I went on a trip to the jungle with my mommy and daddy :) (Who don't know yet) I took 3 pregnancy tests to confirm and to be 100% sure I had a blood test done on 1/5/09. All of the hormone tests came out good. The Dr. asked me to re-take my pregnancy hormone test 4 days later to see how much it increased and I went from 48.93 mui/ml to 365.9 mui/ml in 4 days!!! which the Dr. said was pretty good. Now, we have to wait until Saturday to have an ultrasound. I don't want to tell anyone because I am scared something will happen like last time. I think I will be more relaxed once I have seen everything O.K. on the ultrasound!
